Multiple units cut continuously.

Below are the directions for using Mistyfuse:

1. Begin by placing your fabric right-side up over a piece of Mistyfuse that’s slightly larger. Position this layered assembly between two sheets of parchment paper or Goddess pressing sheets. Ensure the parchment is suitable by testing it first; silicon-coated parchment typically works best.

2. Lightly iron to attach the Mistyfuse to the fabric surface. After it cools, trim your fuse-backed shape using a rotary cutter or scissors.

3. Position your trimmed piece on the fabric you wish to bond, using pins if necessary. To permanently fuse the fabrics, cover it with parchment paper or a pressing sheet and apply firm pressure with a hot iron for 5-15 seconds. This will allow the fuse to bond strongly with both the top and bottom fabrics. If your fabric requires a lower temperature, use multiple lighter pressings with a warm-to-hot iron to layer the heat and build the bond. When layering heat, remove the protective top parchment and allow the fabrics to cool slightly between pressings.

No label or instructions, riverside do better

Ordered a couple different types fusible web and interfacing. All of it came together in unlabelled ziplock bags so it was really hard to figure out which product was which. Would really benefit from some instructions on usage to either be included alongside the product in packaging and/or on the product listing.

Hi Michelle, Thank you for your feedback we take it very seriously. The only item that should have been in a ziplock bag is the mistyfuse as it's extremely delicate. We are commited to reducing all plastic packaging and when we must use it using post consumer recycled plastics so this is the most striking part of your review. I will definately talk to the fulfillment team as this should not be. I find it very upsetting that we might be sending out excess plastic baggies into the world.

We generally do label items when there are similar and hard to distinguish. In terms of your order I only see two webbings and no interfacing. The misty fuse (super delicate) and the Pellon Wonder-Under Stretch. The misty fuse is the much finer one and the wonder under is paper backed. Hopefully that clears things up for this order. We're always happy to help if you reach out. I gather the person that fulfilled your order didn't believe they would be hard to distinguish but I will chat with them about raising the bar on this for what may or may not be hard to tell apart.

Regarding instructions, we usually include the tissue paper that comes with the Pellon, which has some general information. I'm surprised that wasn't included in your order, so I will also follow up with my staff about that. We don't typically include instructions with the misty fuse for environmental reasons, as they are not already included and we would have to print them out. However, I will add them to the product listing to help customers in the future.

MistyFuse is perfect

Mistyfuse fuses to the fabric without adding any bulk or weight. Use uncoated baking parchment on your ironing board and on the fabric to protect your iron and the fine web of this material bonds permanently to the fabric. This allowed me to draw and cut out the pieces for my blanket. There is no need to reverse the image. Simply cut out the pattern pieces and iron them onto your background fabric. There is no waste with this product. I keep any small scraps in a small ziploc bag to use for another project. Because it is so light any overlapping bits simply melt into your fabric.

This is a great product! And Riverside forwarded my order immediately. A wonderful shopping experience.
