A heavy cotton velvet in dark indigo. This fabric has a soft, soft pile on the face side and a very densly woven canvas backing. Despite it's gsm it is still manageable on a domestic sewing machine since the backing is densely woven. It features subtle striations of slight lighter coloured velvet that catch the light and add visual depth and dimension. Made with subtly variegated yarns. Use it for upholstery projects, home wares, bags, coats & more.
