Silesia Cotton - Dark Brown - Film Studio Deadstock

A multipurpose, plain woven cotton in dark brown. Silesia cotton is traditionally used for pockets and lining in tailored garments. With a weight of 130gsm this version is slightly heavier than traditional silesia cotton but is still considered a lightweight fabric. This fabric is fully opaque and has a crisp hand and would work well for a-line garments or projects needing some structure. Use it for lining, skirts, button ups & more. 

This eco-friendly deadstock was liberated from a popular film studios wardrobe department. Film studios often buy full rolls of fabric and use only a fraction of them. Leaving mostly full perfect condition new rolls behind. We purchase and catalog them to offer you designer quality fabric at discounted prices.
